I have been commuting along EDSA for the longest time, and part of the daily scenery is the malls along the avenue. North-bound you will see SM Megamall promoting their Trash to Cash program. South-bound is Ayala Malls' Recyclables Fair.
I just finished my thesis about reusable bags and all the research information (plus the summer 2010 heat, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and such) is really scaring me. Might I add the Mayan prophecy about 2012? True or not, there will come a point that everything will crumble to pieces. Be responsible and do all you can do to save the environment. It can be done. Start here.
PS We don't need to buy solar panels and install windmills around the house - we just need to start rethinking and streamlining our daily routines. And that includes not buying non-reusable plastic water bottles when you can bring your own water.
