I'm in the process of reinventing my Blogger as I have already spoiled two (or were they three?) blogs in this account. I signed up for LiveJournal because I like how it restrains you when it comes to the overall look and feel. Ah, well. :)
A few days before my graduation, I was having trouble thinking about where to get really awesome nude, bad-ass shoes to wear. Nadine and I share this ivory pair, which I considered to be my last resort as it doesn't fit me as well (although she has a bigger shoe size. Hm.). My sister, who I fondly call Teysel, took me shoe shopping (THANK YOU) and treated Mama and me to a Footsie and mani/pedi at Beauty and Butter in SM Megamall.
First, the shoes:

I have to tell you, I posted "Looking For (LF)" ads in Multiply about nude, platform shoes with at least four inches in heel height. Every gosh-darn pair cost no less than a thousand pesos. I am the eternal cheapskate, so all of them turned me off. When we went to Megamall, my jaw dropped to the floor upon seeing the first store's (Cardam's) prices. Three-hundred ninety-nine-peso shoes still exist! And they're really nice to boot (pun intended). Of course we didn't buy after the first stop.
We found the awesomest pair in SM Department Store, no less, in the eternal Parisian brand. It was a YSL lookalike: tan faux croc peep-toes, in five- mile inch heels. Before I could walk a meter in those pair, I had to lick the floor and writhe in pain. Things fashion does to ya. It was really nice and I urge you to buy yourself a pair if your feet and conscience can take it. For only P899, it's a far cry from it's Multiply.com counterparts that don't even perform half as well as their price suggest. (And yeah, I just copied and pasted from my LiveJournal post.) You can buy simple black pumps of the same bad attitude like Patit did in Mong Kok, HK but you'd have to fork out some moolah and more just for the plane tickets.
The pair of Parisian shoes pictured above was the perfect choice. I don't normally settle on three-inch heels, nor do I like anything that covers my ankle because I ain't no Heidi Klum, but the color was just gorgeous. I could go out on a limb and say the leather looks like a Louis Vuitton put to good use. Please take the time to notice I enjoyed my shoes so much I couldn't care less if I had corns on my toes just like Tyra Banks likes to announce to the world:

I wore the lovely pair until around 10PM that night. Corns on my toes, and some broken bones. The things you do for fashion. Thank you Nadine Camunay for the photos :)
I really really like your shoes. >.< i have half a mind to buy them!
