The WWW is awesome! Everyone is connected to everyone else, and you get to be updated with everything in a snap. I was checking out my Twitter updates when @lizlan (Liz Lanuzo), the beauty behind ProjectVanity.com and one of Ukay Manila Store's owners, tweeted:
It was such a refreshing update among all those that talked about the elections (it is so last week), and the fingertip diarrhea that happens all the time in Twitterverse, ie random updates about dinner, waking up, merienda, sleeping. (I admit I sometimes participate.) This morning, despite having a lot of work on my hands, I actually had something fun to look forward to.
I am not one of the lucky gals who join certain contests and win. My sign dictates that fortune follows me around, but I don't know for sure if it actively participates in fun little games like these. But it's my first time to make an effort meeting the requirements of such, and I feel excited that I put out something. Here's to hoping Lady Luck and the ~Universe~ will hear me out.

UKY MNL (Ukay Manila) as the name says, offers vintage finds online. What I love about their website is its organization, color and layout, which is very light on the eyes. They also don't just feature a mishmash of garments dug from decades past, but their collections proved a style emerging: soft ruffles, chiffon dresses, denim and eyelet - all-romantic and perfect for Philippine weather.
