If you're down in the dumps...

...at least you should look good.

The view from the top is really nice, even if it's only three inches from where you used to be. I should thank my tan strappy heels. Although it kept me walking ten minutes slower than usual, I managed to hail a cab and arrive on time (well, three short minutes late) for work. If I had taken the train, I would have arrived just in time for lunch. It's just three inches, I know... but Manila pavement isn't exactly fashoenista-friendly.

My jeans fit where it should, and this pair feels comfortable even though it's not 100% cotton. Somewhere along weaving some sort of plastic went with the rest of the yarns.

Please forgive my Polyvore laying-out. I'm used to Looklet.com, but the one pose they have has bored me to a new low. And especially forgive the cheesy "it's a perfect day!" line because Hoku's been ringing in my ears since I woke up. Must be for extra positive vibes.

My striped shirt is from Sonoma. Some of the garments from Sonoma are actually made here in the Philippines, with merchandising help from Li & Fung Group. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that but I just did. If in a few days this post is gone, you'll know what happened. Tell you the truth my jeans are a ripoff. But I'm washing my hands clean because I didn't buy them - I just found them around the house. Really.

Shoes. The shoes are Love. Check it: where I got them and why I have them. Belt is from my Mama. She used to sport this macrame belt a lot during the 80s and 90s. Everything's having a comeback, so should this belt.

Now I'm off to lunch.
